Lotus Blooms educator Diva Darling will take you on a brief trip through its quirky history, including showing you an actual working antique wand. The workshop will also cover:
- How to set up and use your violet wand and its attachments
- How to use your own and/or your partner’s bodies to conduct electric kisses and caresses
- What other toys pair especially well with violet wand play– and which to avoid!
- Ideas for intensifying or getting creative with your wand play
- Cleaning and caring for your kit
A violet wand is an investment, so you’ll also get the chance to experience a little taste of this wand’s magic and decide if you like it enough to own one. See if you can resist the temptation to let loose a maniacal laugh and declare, “My libido– IT IS ALIVE!”
About Your Educator: Diva Darling is a burlesque performer, an event producer, and has been a kinkster in the BDSM scene for almost 20 years, with a number of workshops under her waist cincher for Black Rose, Turtle Hill Sacred Sexuality Beltane, and Lotus Blooms, among others. When she’s not acting as Lotus Blooms’ resident marketing maven, she performs throughout DC and regionally, co-produces the storytelling-meets-sex open mic Smut Slam DC, and blogs at divamojo.com.
Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexualities, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store.
Workshops generally run about 90 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle. Afterwards, the store is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour.
