NEW! On 5th Sundays, we’ll be offering Sip & Shop socials at the store instead of workshops. Each one will be targeted towards different groups who are looking for places to meet, and they’ll be fun, casual, and informative! You asked for opportunities to socialize, and we’re thrilled to make that happen. If your special interest group might want a meetup, talk to us!
This evening is aimed at providing resources for people who are considering opening their relationship/getting into a non-monogamous relationship, have entered into one/opened up recently, or want to improve/work through challenges in their relationship. We’re here to help you find your feet!
We will break the evening down into two parts- a one-hour panel discussion and then a one hour sip’n’shop social.
The panel will discuss ways to navigate non-monogamy from several angles. We have a wonderful panel of ethical non-monogamists, who will share some of their experiences with us, and then be present to answer and discuss your questions. If you’ve got questions regarding the practicalities of non-monogamy, the terminology, the timetabling, the different types of relationships, dealing with jealousy, or improving communication, then this is the place to be!
Then, stick around for a lively, playful evening of mingling, shopping, and enjoying light refreshments in Lotus Blooms’ luxurious and inclusive boutique. We’ll offer an icebreaker at the end of the panel to get everyone talking, and the store will be closed just like it is for workshops, so you can relax and enjoy yourselves. Why not bring a friend, get dinner on King Street beforehand, and make a night of it? And maybe head out to a bar with new friends afterwards!
This event is $10 per person, BUT $5 will be applied as a discount to any purchase you make at the end of the evening!
