Join our educators as we break down (beat down?) how pain and pleasure coincide; how to build an impact play scene; how to shop for the perfect THWACK!; and how to do it all in a way that’s safe, fun, and– best of all– pleasurable!
Meet your Educator!
Lauren Moore, MA is one of our managers. When she’s not Blooms-ing, she’s offering kink-aware, research-based therapy in Fairfax (check it out!– sexmechanicdc.com). She’s also learning mechanics, writing a biology book for therapists, eating cheese from farmer’s markets, and having intense conversations about sex toys companies… you know, for fun.
Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexualities, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store.
Workshops generally run about 90 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle. Afterwards, the store is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour.
