Ever been interested in tying someone up but aren’t sure where to start? Want to be tied yourself, but your partner’s skills are unpolished? Join us as we demonstrate intro-level rope skills sure to leave your mind, heart, and partner tied in knots! The ties we will go over will include single columns, double columns, and a basic futomomo. This class is primarily focused on wrist/ankle restraints. This will be the perfect foundation for practicing rope handling skills- which come in handy for improving overall tying and connection with your partner.
Chairs tend to get in the way on this one, so please bring a blanket or yoga mat and lots of long rope! Two bundles or our Bedroom or M0co rope (32 and 26 feet, respectively) work great but feel free to bring your own.

Lauren Moore, MA is one of our managers. When Lauren’s not Blooms-ing, Lauren is learning mechanics, writing a biology book for therapists, eating cheese and fruit from the warlock at farmer’s markets, and having intense conversations about sex toys companies… you know, for fun.
Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexualities, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store.
Workshops generally run about 90 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle. Afterwards, the store is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour.
