Booty Basics: Intro to Anal Play (Pleasuring Your Partner Series)

NOTE THE DATE AND TIME! This workshop is presented as part of our new Saturday “Night School” series. From time to time, we’ll be scheduling extra-sexy topics from 9-11 PM on Saturdays. It’s the perfect date-night or friends-night-out choice to follow dinner and drinks!

Join Lotus Blooms Sex Educator Katie Shepherd for an evening dedicated solely to the bum! In this booty-focused workshop, no topic is too taboo. Katie is trained in the arts of counseling, communication, education and will help to create an environment that makes talking about butt stuff comfortable and fun! Learn how to prep- mentally and physically- for the play. Explore fun ways to set the mood, get in the mood, and get about the playing! Katie will provide information on the essential tools, fun and helpful toys, and answer any question and bust any myth that comes her way. There’s lots to learn about the booty!

Meet your educator: Katie has a Masters of Social Work and hopes to become an ASSECT certified sex therapist. In the meantime, she is enthusiastic about empowering healthy relationships and communication- both in and out of the bedroom. When she’s not working toward that goal, she can be found getting into yoga positions, travelling with her partner, and making Muppet noises around the store.

Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexualities, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store.

Workshops generally run about 90 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle. Afterwards, the store is open for individual questions and private shopping for about half an hour.
